Dear Lord, I just wanted to take a minute to thank You for all the blessings in my life. I have a wonderful family, a supportive husband, two beautiful children, and more friends than I could ever ask for. I thank You for every struggle because it just makes me a appreciate all the good in my life that much more. Today was a toughie, but You got us through it. Please continue to watch over us and keep us safe. AMEN.
So, George had his tonsils and adenoids out and his sinuses flushed today. :( My poor baby. You can tell by the progression of photos: before, recovery, and ride home. It's been a tough day. I'm hoping it'll be a little better with each passing day, so keep my baby in your prayers for a speedy recovery!
My new tattoo that I got on St. Patrick's Day! It was the most painful yet, but it's healing nicely...love it!

So, here we are...March 2011. I've been a total slacker at this for quite some time, and for that I apologize. I've posted a few random photos, and hope to be able to find more time to keep up. I now have a job as a housekeeper at a hotel in Seneca, SC. It's a job, and it kept Luke from having to go back to Oklahoma to work. He recently started a job in Salem, SC at a rat farm. Yes, you heard me right...a rat farm. He seems to like it, although the work is hard, and he's making pretty good money. Again, whatever kept him from having to go back to Oklahoma was what we decided to do. Even if it meant P/T, minimum wage, no benefits, etc. It kept our family together, which was the ultimate goal. So, here we are, making it work!!! Oh, by the way, because I probably won't get to it on the 17th: HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY!!!!
We had a blast at our annual Halloween party. This year's theme was: ZOMBIEPALOOZA. This was only the beginning of my costume...Mare and I tied for 1st place in the scariest costume contest(what a surprise, right?). I think next year we're having a geriatric theme. Good times!
We did get a good bit of snow this winter. However, NOTHING like winter in Syracuse! The kids had a great time playing in the snow. I had fun too, but A WEEK OF SNOW DAYS!? Get real SC...you wouldn't survive a NY minute in the winter!
This was taken on a Saturday right before I had to leave for work. I didn't want to go, and they didn't want me to go either. Miss my Saturdays with them!
I got a new tattoo! This makes number 7, and going to get number 8 on Thursday! This one is mostly in part for Mare. "We'll always be friends forever" is a line from The Fox and the Hound, and we say it to each other ALL THE TIME!
